Marine-grade 316 stainless · Orange County

Security doors that let life in.

Leave the door open to the evening air. The breeze gets in, the view stays, and the steel takes care of the rest.

Steel you can see through

A screen door, perfected

A Daylight Steel door lives exactly like the screen door you grew up with - open to the yard, the kids, the dog, the golden hour. Its mesh just happens to be woven from marine-grade 316 stainless steel.

Full breeze

Cross-ventilation like an ordinary insect screen. Cool the house without running the AC.

Full view

Fine woven mesh nearly disappears from a few feet away. Your doorway stays a doorway, not a gate.

Bugs out

Everything a screen door does, it does - flies, mosquitoes, and moths stay outside where they belong.

Steel underneath

316 stainless mesh and multi-point locks. Stated once, calmly: it can't be cut or kicked in.

Before & after

The same doorway, opened up

A recent double-entry install. The wood doors now stand open all afternoon; the mesh keeps the view, the breeze, and everything else exactly where it belongs.

The same brick-arched entry before installation - wooden double doors that stayed closed
Before - handsome doors that stayed shut.
After installation - black security screen doors with a clear view through the mesh into the home
After - open behind steel you can see through.

Why 316 matters here

Built for salt air and golden hours

Southern California living happens with the doors open - and near the coast, salt air quietly destroys ordinary steel and aluminum mesh. 316 is the marine-grade alloy boat builders use for a reason: it shrugs off the same air that pits and rusts everything else. Our doors are built on Vista Security Screens™ systems, knife-shear tested to Australian security standards and salt-spray tested to ASTM B117, with a 10-year manufacturer warranty on the powder-coat finish.

Questions

Asked often, answered plainly

How much does a security screen door cost?

Unlike most of the industry, we publish our pricing. Installed hinged doors start at $2,225, sliders at $2,625, and French pairs at $4,225 - see the full table on our pricing page. Your exact price is confirmed in writing at the free in-home measure, before any commitment.

Does it really work like a normal screen door?

Yes - that is the whole point. The mesh keeps bugs out and lets the breeze and the view through like any screen door. The difference is that it is woven from marine-grade 316 stainless steel, so it cannot be cut with a knife or kicked in. You live with it open; it just never needs to be a worry.

What is special about 316 stainless steel?

316 is the marine-grade stainless alloy used for boat fittings and coastal architecture. It resists the salt air that corrodes cheaper steel and aluminum mesh, which matters everywhere from Sunset Beach to San Clemente. It keeps its strength and its looks for decades, not seasons.

What warranty comes with the door?

Our doors are built on Vista Security Screens systems. The manufacturer backs the powder-coat finish on mesh and panels for 10 years from installation and the hardware (hinges, locks, closers, rollers) for 1 year, and our own team stands behind the installation itself. Your written quote includes the warranty terms in full.

Who does the measuring and installation?

Our own trained team handles every measure and every install - we never send subcontractors. A typical door installs in under two hours, and we haul away your old screen door on request.

Where do you install?

All of Orange County - 34 communities from Seal Beach to San Clemente, coast to canyon. Check your city on our service areas page; the rest of Southern California is on our roadmap.

Can I see the doors before deciding?

The free in-home measure is exactly that: we bring mesh and frame samples to your door, measure the opening, and leave you a written quote. No pressure and no obligation - the numbers are already published on our site.
